Symposium 'Making Cities = Making Regions: Rotterdam-The Hague Metropolitan Area'

Cities and metropolitan regions are becoming ever-more powerful agents for social and economic growth, and hold the potential for truly sustainable living. All the more reason for 24 cities in the Rotterdam -The Hague region to intensify their collaboration.

The Rotterdam-The Hague Metropolitan Area will officially launch on 1 January 2013. Looking forward to the inauguration, there is no better time to discuss what being a metropolitan region means for the municipalities involved, for the province and for the national government. During the debate on Friday 27 April, the Metropolitan Region of The Hague Rotterdam will be discussed in comparison with other metropolitan regions.
