Urbanists Talk: Jeffrey Inaba
Migratory Anagrams (credits: INABA)
Location: Netherlands Architecture Institute (auditorium), Rotterdam
In this 'Urbanists talk', the acclaimed architect and researcher Jeffrey Inaba, founder of the architecture firm INABA and founding director of the Columbia Laboratory for Architectural Broadcasting (C-Lab), lectures on the convergence by technology, automobile, and higher learning corporations and international policy organizations on the city - and how they are 'making the City 2.0'. INABA is trying to mapping out this phenomenon, which they describe as a primer for architecture. According to Inaba, architecture seems so far relatively indifferent to this amazing amount of attention on the city as the next big money maker and policy laboratory.
